Terms of Use

By downloading or using Woah, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is developed by Petter Höglander, an individual developer based in Sweden ("we", "us").

1. What Woah is

Woah reads health signals from Apple Health to compute a daily recovery score and long-term wellness trend. It uses AI to generate personalized insights based on that data. It is a personal wellness tool only — not a substitute for professional medical or clinical advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Woah. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Health data and Apple Health

Woah accesses your Apple Health data with your explicit permission. You can revoke this permission at any time in your iPhone's Settings app. We never write data back to Apple Health.

4. AI-generated content

The daily messages, insights, and recommendations in Woah are generated by AI (Anthropic's Claude). This content:

• Is automatically generated and not reviewed by a human before delivery
• Is intended as general wellness guidance only
• May occasionally be inaccurate or not applicable to your situation
• Is not a substitute for professional health, fitness, or medical advice

5. Partner feature

The partner feature lets two users share selected health metrics with each other. By enabling this feature:

• You acknowledge that the health data you choose to share will be accessible to your paired partner
• You confirm that you have the consent of the person you are pairing with
• You can disconnect and revoke shared access at any time from within the app

6. Subscriptions

Woah is free to use solo. The partner feature is available through an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual):

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
• Where a free trial is offered, it begins when your subscription starts; if you cancel before it ends you will not be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or distribute the app, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.

8. Service availability

We provide the app on a best-effort basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We are not liable for any interruption or loss of service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy of recovery scores.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Petter Höglander shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the app.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
